Elizabeth Barrios Gomez es una madre apasionada, defensora experimentada y l\u00edder respetada en el movimiento por los derechos de las personas con discapacidad en California. Como directora ejecutiva y cofundadora de Integrated Community Collaborative (ICC), Elizabeth aporta m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada de incansable defensa de las familias desatendidas que navegan por los complejos sistemas estatales de discapacidad del desarrollo. Su trabajo se basa en la humildad cultural, la experiencia vivida y un profundo compromiso con la equidad y la justicia. Elizabeth se gradu\u00f3 del programa de Educaci\u00f3n de Liderazgo de California en Neurodesarrollo y Discapacidades Relacionadas (CA-LEND) a trav\u00e9s del Centro Universitario para la Excelencia en Discapacidades del Desarrollo (UCEDD) de la USC en el Hospital Infantil de Los \u00c1ngeles (CHLA). Actualmente forma parte del Comit\u00e9 Asesor Local (LAC) del Programa de Autodeterminaci\u00f3n del Centro Regional Westside y es embajadora de Disability Voices United. Entre sus iniciativas recientes se incluye la fundaci\u00f3n de Community Outreach.\u00a0Integradoras<\/i>\u00a0Programa, una iniciativa con ra\u00edces culturales que aborda las disparidades en el acceso y los servicios dentro del sistema de Centros Regionales de California. A trav\u00e9s de este modelo, Elizabeth ha contribuido a crear v\u00edas para la orientaci\u00f3n y el empoderamiento entre pares en comunidades latinas y monoling\u00fces.<\/p>

Elizabeth obtuvo su licenciatura en la Universidad de Woodbury. Vive en el oeste de Los \u00c1ngeles con su esposo y compa\u00f1ero de defensa, Fernando G\u00f3mez, y sus dos hijos: Oscar Antonio, un joven din\u00e1mico con s\u00edndrome de Down, y Diego Antonio. Josefina Romo de Sharp se uni\u00f3 a ICC en 2019 y aporta experiencia personal y profesional a su puesto. Como madre de un joven con discapacidad y abogada de formaci\u00f3n, combina su conocimiento legal con la organizaci\u00f3n comunitaria para servir a las familias con compasi\u00f3n y claridad. Actualmente, Josefina lidera el equipo de Integradora en Antelope Valley, donde se dedica a ayudar a las familias a navegar sistemas complejos con dignidad y apoyo culturalmente arraigado. Actualmente, como Gerente Regional para el \u00e1rea de Stockton, Dora lidera a su equipo en el apoyo a familias en toda la zona de influencia del Centro Regional Valley Mountain (VMRC). Su pasi\u00f3n y dedicaci\u00f3n se basan en el servicio comunitario, garantizando que las personas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo (IDD) y sus familias reciban la orientaci\u00f3n, la defensa y el apoyo culturalmente receptivo que necesitan.
